FAMILY TRIP: DAY 2

We started our morning with Mass at St. Patrick Parish in Angels Camp. Such a beautiful church! Wish we could of taken pictures. It reminded me of the olden days when we'd go to church... stain glass windows, the smell of grandma's perfume, pews that faced the altar and tabernacle, hymns from the song book, and silence before and after Mass in the church. Such a beautiful thing. Afterwards we headed out to the city of Arnold, not knowing what to expect. We ended up driving around to wherever the road brought us. I love these moments of spontaneity and adventure. What a great little getaway.
